La Maison des Pilotes du Mans has everything you need for your stay in La Chartre sur le Loir. Attention to detail is key in this apartment, high quality bed linen and towels and comfortable beds together with excellent kitchen and dining facilities.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 with a double/twin bedded separate bedroom and a double sofa bed in the open plan lounge/dining area with dining table. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. Shower and separate toilet. Free WiFi.
Overlooking the Place de la Republique, the apartment has a view from the 3 large windows, each with a Juliet balcony and is directly opposite the Hotel de France. In the square there are a variety of restaurants and bars, butchers, fishmongers, patisserie, tabac and delicatessen. The main street has numerous other bars and restaurants, shops, brocantes and antiques, small supermarket, various banks and the village also has a market. All are within a short walking distance.
La Chartre sur le Loir is also a great base for exploring the area for wine tours, vineyards, walking, cycling and fishing and is ideal for a romantic getaway or a great stop over on your way to the South.
The apartment is available for rent throughout the year, not just for race weeks. It is owned and run by husband and wife team, Sandra Morgan, former hotel manager and AMOC member, Frank Hopping.
